Allowance
Allowance means a sum granted as a reimbursement or repayment or a deduction from the gross weight or value of goods.
Allowance means a sum granted as a reimbursement or repayment or a deduction from the gross weight or value of goods. It provides a discount on freight charged to customers (typically) based on how much they purchase. Allowances can be a set dollar amount or a percentage. Allowances are most often used as buying incentives.
