Sfax–Thyna International Airport (IATA: SFA, ICAO: DTTX) is an airport serving the city of Sfax, along the Mediterranean coast, in Tunisia. It is located approximately 4,2 miles (6,8 km) west of Sfax and about 5,7 miles (9,2 km) southwest of Gremda. The airport is designated as an international facility, capable of handling both domestic and international services. Sfax Airport is operated by the Office of Civil Aviation & Airports (OACA).
With a capacity of 200,000 passengers per year, the current terminal covers 2,000 sq m. A new terminal building covers 8000 sq m, consisting of three buildings. From 2011 the airport was the main hub and headquarters for Syphax Airlines up until 2015.
Tunisair Express provides domestic flights flying into SFA and some leading international carriers, including Tunisair Express, Afriqiyah Airways, Libyan Airlines and Transavia France, provide international flights.
