Naxos Airport (IATA code: JNX, ICAO code: LGNX), also known as Naxos Island National Airport, is the only airport in the island of Naxos, hosting just domestic flights. Located near Agios Prokopios, 3 kilometers from Naxos City, it was opened in 1992.
The airport has direct connection with the Athens International Airport and with other European airports via pre-arranged charter flights. In 2019, it saw a peak in the number of passengers passing through its doors right before the outbreak of covid-19 pandemic in 2019 and that was more than 90,000.
