Wilmington International Airport (IATA code: ILM, ICAO code: KILM) is a public airport serving Wilmington, a port city and the county seat of New Hanover County in coastal southeastern North Carolina, the United States. It is located just north of Wilmington, in unincorporated Wrightsboro, Cape Fear Township. Its location on the coast, halfway between NYC and Miami, makes it a desirable and less busy entry point to the United States.

Covering an area of 1,800 acres (728 hectares), the airport has a terminal which has eight gates. The separate terminal was built to serve the international flights that land each year (private or charter).

During the calendar year 2019, the airport had a record high number of passengers with 538,014 enplanements and 537,949 deplanements, totaling 1,075,963 passengers. Besides, a total of 2,724,404 pounds of cargo were handled.
